Windy Hill prides itself on creating a fun fall experience for all. Knowledgeable staff members are on hand to guide visitors through the art of apple picking, sharing tips on identifying the perfect fruit and making the most of this cherished tradition.
For those who prefer sipping to picking, Windy Hill presents a variety of tasty ciders crafted using the orchard’s juicy apples. From crisp and refreshing blends to unique seasonal flavors, the cidery is a paradise for cider enthusiasts and newcomers alike. (Pro tip: Pair a crisp drink with a warm apple cider doughnut for the ideal fall combo.)
Know Before You Go
To help you plan your visit, we compiled a few tips to know before you go:
- For to-go purchases of delicious products, the farmstand will be open starting August 15th, Thursday through Saturday (10:00 am – 6:00 pm) and Sundays (12:00 pm – 6:00 pm).
- Hard cider tastings will start on August 16th (12:00 pm – 7:00 pm)
- Apple picking begins on Saturday, September 7th. Just be sure to make a reservation before you go.
