U-Pick Farms in South Carolina’s Piedmont Region

At some farms in the Olde English District, you can even pick your flower arrangements for a perfect farm-to-table setting. Below is a list of several U-pick farms and farm stands in the region. Just be sure to see what’s in season before you visit!
Cherry Place Farm
This family farm is located minutes from downtown Rock Hill, South Carolina. Seasonally, the farm produces a variety of fresh produce. During the spring, there are delicious U-pick strawberries, and in the summer, you can find U-pick-cut flowers. The farm offers tours in October with its corn maze and pumpkin patch. To wrap up the year, Cherry Place Farm sells fresh Christmas trees and wreaths during the holiday season.
Cotton Hills Farm
This family-owned and operated farm in the Town of Lowrys takes pride in growing flavorful, fresh produce. U-pick strawberry season typically begins in April and continues into the beginning of summer. U-pick peaches, tomatoes, flowers and other garden vegetables typically can be found from June through the end of summer. Pumpkins begin in September and continue through October, and collards can be found during the winter months.
Black’s Peaches
Black’s Peaches is open all year, offering a variety of fresh produce along with baked goods, daily specials, sandwiches and more. Depending on the season, the farm also offers produce you can pick yourself, including strawberries in the spring and pumpkins in the fall.
Bush-N-Vine Farm
Originally a peach farm, Bush-N-Vine has been in the Hall family for more than 150 years. Guests are invited to pick their own strawberries, blueberries, flowers, peaches, blackberries, sunflowers and pumpkins, all depending on the season. Be sure to pop into the Farm Café before you leave for fresh donuts, ice cream, slushies, hotdogs and more.
Five Blossoms Farm
This family-run flower and small-scale beekeeping farm is tucked away in Clover, South Carolina. It produces specialty cut flowers for wholesale and floral designers and offers a few U-pick sessions and workshops by appointment only. Reservations tend to book out quickly, so be sure to plan ahead.
Hall Family Farm
Located in Lancaster County, Hall Family Farm is a popular U-pick destination, especially known for its strawberries and pumpkins. Visitors can enjoy picking fresh produce, navigating a corn maze, and savoring farm-fresh treats from their market. The farm also hosts seasonal events and offers activities for all ages, making it a fantastic spot for family outings or a day of outdoor fun. With picnic areas and scenic spots to relax, Hall Family Farm provides an immersive farm experience in South Carolina’s Piedmont region.
Indigo Iris Farm
This small, family-run farm in Clover offers pick-your-own flower sessions by appointment during the summer. Indigo Iris Farm’s goal is to create a haven away from the hustle and bustle that sparks creativity through events, U-pick sessions, parties and more.
The Ivy Place Berry Farm
This farm’s vision is for people to pick produce together, create memories, experience the growing process and savor delicious foods. During the spring and summer, The Ivy Place Berry Farm offers u-pick strawberries, flower bouquets, blueberries, blackberries, heirloom tomatoes and various vegetables.
McLeod Farms
This farm has been around since 1916 and is known for growing delicious peaches, along with other produce. Starting in April, the farm offers u-pick strawberries for visitors to fill their buckets full of juicy berries. With more than 800 acres of peaches, 60 acres of strawberries, 10 acres of blackberries and more, McLeod Farms has you covered.
The Peach Tree Orchard
You pick or they pick—this open-air market specializes in peaches and other local vegetables. The Peach Tree Orchard also serves tasty ice cream cones, milkshakes, sundaes and banana splits. Open May to October and in December. Peaches are available June-September.
Rich Hill Farms
During strawberry season, which usually spans from April to late May, Rich Hill Farms in Heath Springs offers U-pick berries. While no appointment is necessary, it’s recommended to check in with the farm to stay updated on field conditions and availability.
Springs Farm
Springs Farm in Fort Mill has a little something for everyone. Enjoy freshly picked produce, baked goods, canned goods, boiled peanuts, old-fashioned soda, slushies and homemade soft serve. And don’t forget to pick a basket of juicy, fresh strawberries during mid-spring.
